RGS employs over 420 staff in teaching, administration, early learning, boarding, ICT, building and grounds, kitchen and cleaning roles. All staff play a valuable part and make an extraordinary difference in the lives of our students. The Rockhampton Grammar School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students. It is a condition of employment that all teaching staff hold and provide evidence of current Queensland Teacher Registration, and non-teaching staff a Working With Children Check (Blue Card) positive notice prior to commencement.

The costs of the programme is factored into the School’s existing annual professional development funding for teachers.
