Successful scholarship recipients will receive a support package from the School, which includes:
Applications for the Teaching Scholarship are invited from people who :
1. Are undertaking a course in a Queensland tertiary institution with the intent to complete a qualification that enables them to become registered as a teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers upon graduation.
2. Have one full year (or the equivalent) of study remaining in their course of study at the time of application. (Retrospective tuition fees for the entire course will be paid under the scholarship.)
3. Achieved high academic results as a student at high school in the Central Queensland region and can demonstrate their full participation in school life OR can demonstrate their strong commitment to education in the Central Queensland region.
4. Are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
5. Are willing to undertake a period of placement or practical training at the School (dependent on course requirements and availability).
