We often say that when you exit the front gates of The Rockhampton Grammar School, you become a Grammarian for life. RGS Past Students can be found all around the world, at all stages of life and pursuing a diverse range of career paths. However, they are all connected by their Grammar education and memories. 

RGS Past Students' Association

The Past Students’ Association works with the School to organise annual Reunions as well as social and networking events. Past Students are encouraged to follow the RGS Past Students’ Association facebook page to keep up to date with past student news and events. The RGS Past Students’ Association meet once a month (meeting dates below) and all RGS past students are invited and encouraged to attend these meetings.

2022 PSA Meetings

The RGS Past Students’ Association would like to announce a special meeting has been scheduled for 6pm, Friday 25 November 2022 to discuss and move its rebranding.  The meeting will take place at the Boardroom, Coco Brew, Rockhampton.  The regular monthly meeting will immediately follow this special meeting.  Any past student of The Rockhampton Grammar School is welcome to attend and will be warmly greeted by Association members.  If you wish to attend, please email The Past Student's Association ( by close of business Wednesday 23 November 2022.

The Distinguished Past Students’ Awards Dinner is an annual event that recognises the actions and achievements of past students who have gone above and beyond, and in doing so, encourage aspirations and ideals of the highest community standards and values. It is the School community’s pre-eminent means of recognising outstanding achievement and contribution by past students.
