Officeworks School List Service
RGS is pleased to be partnering with Officeworks to supply families with their booklist requirements for 2026 - all from the comfort of your own home. Parents can choose their child's school and grade on the Officeworks website, and the essential books and stationery will be seamlessly added to their shopping cart. What’s even better? Here's how to order:
- Go to the Officeworks School List Service website
- Search for The Rockhampton Grammar School, and select your child's year level
- Review the booklist
- Remove any items your child doesn't need (ie. they may still have a ruler from the year before)
- Add any extra items your child might need (ie. a lunch box)
- Choose Home Delivery or Click and Collect
- Pay for order
Please note that for Secondary students, only 'general requirements' are pre-selected. Parents will then need to select the subjects their child is studying in 2026.
The Red and Black Shop is the School's onsite uniform and supplies shop. The Shop sells new and second-hand uniforms, basic stationery and school merchandise. It is the exclusive supplier of RGS uniforms.
New Uniform Collection
The Rockhampton Grammar School was excited to launch a new uniform collection in Term 4 of 2024. The new uniform is available to purchase at the Red and Black Shop. The 'old' uniform is no longer available for purchase.
The transition period for the new uniform spans just over two years, starting at the beginning of Term 4 in 2024 and concluding at the end of Term 4 in 2026. During this time, students may choose to wear either the current uniform or the new one, but mixing elements of both on any given day is not permitted (with the exception of the School Blazer).
New students to RGS are strongly encouraged to wear the new uniform. However, students who have access to the previous uniform may continue to wear it until the end of 2026.

The following dates are designated for Boarding families only, aligning with the New Boarders’ Orientation Weekend and New Boarders' Welcome Day. Booking links have been provided directly to Boarding families.

The Red and Black Shop’s online store makes it easy to browse and purchase uniforms anytime, anywhere. You can choose to collect your order in person or have it delivered straight to your door.
For new students or those buying uniform items for the first time, we recommend visiting the Red & Black Shop in person to ensure accurate sizing through a fitting.

The School's main method of communication with parents is via the RGS Parent Orbit app. The app provides parents with a mobile friendly way to access School information and undertake various school-related tasks such as notifying student absences, checking the school calendar, completing excursion forms, reading Daily Notices, viewing your child's timetable, paying school fees, signing your child up for co-curricular activities and more. It will also enable the School to send notifications for time sensitive or essential information, such as event cancellations.
Please note that new families commencing at RGS in 2026 will receive their Parent Lounge login details in mid-January 2026.
To download the app:
- Go to the Apple or Google app store on your mobile device.
- Search for 'Parent Orbit'. Alternatively, if you are currently on a mobile device you can use this link: https://parent.tassorbit.com.au/rgs
- After downloading, enter 'rgs' as the school code.
- Enter your Parent Lounge username and password (new families will receive their login details in January 2026).
