Application and procedure

Thank you for visting the website and for exploring The Rockhampton Grammar School. Have you read our Prospectus? Please download your Application for Admission. This is a PDF form which you can complete by typing on your device. Just save a copy and email it (with other requirements) to us.  Or you may print it and return by hard-copy (mail) to the School. Both parents and/or guardian(s) must sign this form.  The completed application form must be accompanied by:

  • A certified copy of birth certificate.
  • Your child's record of immunisation.
  • Copies of most recent school reports
  • Non-refundable application fee of $60.00

The process: Vacancies permitting, the family and prospective student will be invited to an enrolment meeting in the year prior to expected enrolment. At this meeting the family will meet with the Senior Staff who will oversee the student’s academic progress and pastoral care, in their first year. Following these meetings, the Headmaster, or his representative, will offer the prospective student a place, or inform the family that a place is not available. Included with the letter of offer and confirmation fee request are census data, medical, and enrolment agreement forms, which must be completed and returned to the Registrar, at the same time as the confirmation fee is paid. The enrolment will not be confirmed until the confirmation fee is paid and forms are returned.
