The Rockhampton Grammar Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic school that prides itself on its achievements in both academic and co-curricular excellence. The Primary School has successfully implemented a student focused learning strategy, Dimensions of Learning, which provides a seamless transition from Primary to Secondary. Dimensions of Learning develops in students a complex reasoning approach to learning, once only considered the realm of the gifted child. The Rockhampton Grammar Primary School teachers have a passion for teaching and all take an active role in the development of each child. They are very experienced and excel personally in the Arts, sport and or academic pursuits. They are encouraged to pursue their passion by teaching students these skills through co curricular arranged activities. Some of these activities include, Future Mathematic Problem Solving, Drama, Web Page Development, Plant Propagation, Choirs, Sports and Public Speaking. Essential to the educational journey is the involvement of the family. Families are encouraged at Grammar Primary to become involved and be part of their child's exciting educational experience.
The resources available to the students are second to none. Whether it is the fully automated Auditorium; the Olympic Pool; the Ritamada Outdoor Education Centre; Computer and Science Laboratories or Music Rooms, the students have no greater opportunity to learn through discovery and guidance.
