Students can choose to be involved in stage performance, backstage crew, or construction of props. Light and sound crews are required, as well as students to play in the band.
The Musical has a support group of parents, The Grammarians Theatre Council, who assist with fundraising and preparations at the theatre.
Costs
| Secondary Cast | $85, which covers T-shirt, costumes, sound and lighting fees, and Presentation Evening. |
| Catering Cost | $20 - The fee is charged in Term 3 to cover catering costs at the Pilbeam Theatre to save students and parents the worry of supplying an evening meal. |
| Crew | $50 - which covers sound and lighting fees, T-shirt and Presentation Evening. |
| Band | $30, which covers orchestral fees, and Presentation Evening. (T-shirt optional extra $25) |
Uniforms
Casts are required to wear shorts, long pants or jeans with t-shirt to rehearsals at all times suitable for acting and dance movements. All students must wear closed shoes: joggers, sandshoes or dance shoes suitable for all acting and dance rehearsals.
The crew is expected to wear a black T-shirt throughout the performance week, with their own black trousers and closed shoes.
Performance Dates
This year's performance will be held at the Pilbeam Theatre. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the theatre.
